Batkid Saves San Francisco!!!

BATKID!! 5-year-old Miles Scott has been been putting up a fight with Leukemia, but today he’s taking down numerous criminals, rescuing victims, and earning the key to the city of San Francisco. Talk about a badass kid. Miles’s wish was to be Batman for a day. Thanks to numerous news sources and social media, word of San Francisco’s transformation into Gotham City spread like wildfire as admirers showed up all around the city to watch Batkid serve up some old-school vigilante justice. This included saving a woman tied to the cable car tracks, capturing the Riddler, rescuing the Giants’ mascot Lou Seal at AT&T Park, and ultimately being handed the key to the city from mayor Ed Lee at the civic center. This would be epic enough if he was doing this on his own, but he was accompanied by Batman himself (who drove Miles around the city in a Lamborghini batmobile), as well as the thousands of supporters holding signs, cheering, taking photographs, and slapping high fives as he passed. The San Francisco Chronicle is even releasing their next edition as the Gotham City Chronicle with Batkid headlines plastered on the front page. And as if I wasn’t already proud enough to live in this city. Faith in humanity = restored.
